Correcting Problems With Home Reverse Osmosis Systems?

by Peter Patterson

Is it even possible to correct health problems through reverse osmosis(RO) water treatment? Well, the problem with home reverse osmosis systems requires a little time to explain. So, bear with me.

What is reverse osmosis? Reverse osmosis is the first stage in reducing impurities found in the surface and groundwater. It is a process used by industries and used nearly a century ago that was very necessary back then but with new technology, it’s not necessary at all. Economically, the problem with home reverse osmosis systems is that it’s expensive. The units are very expensive to purchase, they are expensive to maintain and costly just to operate. The systems require a lot of electricity, so you can expect your electric bill to go up. The system creates wasted water and because of that, you can expect your water/sewage bills to go up.

When planning your wall, make sure that it is strong enough to hold up the earth, but porous enough to allow for drainage. Many retaining walls are built from stone, held together with either dirt or cement between the stones.
