The word “tapestry” is an ancient one, going back at least to the Greek word “tapetion”. Archaeologists have unearthed actual remnants of Greek tapestries that have been dated to the 3rd century B.C. Purchasing a TV or any consumer electronic item is like purchasing a car. You have to consider not only the purchase cost but also the ongoing repair costs and its life expectancy.

Main brand TVs from manufacturers such as Pioneer, Panasonic, Philips, Hitachi, LG, Samsung, Sharp ,JVC and Hitachi always retail for more than secondary brands of televisions with unheard of brand badges on them. The unbranded cheap TVs from unknown manufacturers give the impression of being good value for money when compared to the known brands of TVs. The styling and features may well make justifying the difference difficult.
