When a Mold is There

by Rio Calven

Ever think that your bathroom might be just a ticking time bomb for mold growth? It sure is, whether you are aware of it or not. Here are some signs to look out in your bathroom to make sure that mold or mildew will have no place to grow and spread into.

If the caulk around sink, tub, and shower is peeling, cracked or otherwise damaged, it’s a sign that repair is needed. Richmond Tile and Grout Cleaning provides good service to repair destroyed caulking. You shouldn’t risk damaged caulk as mold spores, or mold itself, has already infiltrated the caulk and has established itself inside and below the tile. This could mean recurring mold growth, weak tiles, and over all an accident prone area and a complete health hazard. Mold is both hard to look at and very unsanitary.

The Perennial Option for Summer Long Color

by Kent Higgins

Question: What are the names of some perennial flowers I could plant in my garden that will bloom all summer? Minnesota.

Most perennials bloom during the summer and scarcely any of them are attractive for their bloom for a period of over a month. However, many perennials are attractive in the garden all summer even if they are not in bloom. Such perennials as alyssum, artemisia, hardy chrysanthemum, Dianthus plumarius, hosta lily and iberis are attractive during that part of summer when they are not in bloom.
