LCDs Are Quickly Scraped!
First we must know a little bit of data about LCD screens to understand why we must be careful when polishing. LCD stands for Liquid Crystal Display; which has crystal molecules sandwiched below levels of polarized panels. These panels are commonly made of “plastic-like” polymer elements, and alike any plastic, they can be readily scratched or gouged, even by just your fingernails! This is why neating up LCDs involves special care as compared to the antique glass CRT monitors!
