Suspended ceilings can also hide stains and cracks. In the long term, suspended ceilings are more economical, since they are more practical and allow you to easily make adjustments without the added costs.

To save money on your flooring, why not install new floors on you own? There are now products that are made of more affordable materials that can even imitate other materials that are otherwise more expensive, such as hardwood and granite. There are also products that are especially designed for do-it-yourself-ers where tiles have an adhesive side so they can be instantly installed.

Go for secondhand furniture to save even more. This way you wont also have to worry about getting them damaged or replacing them if ever sudden flooding occurs.
