Before starting on a plan on how you are want to decorate the bathroom you need to look at your options for bathroom vanity styles. With all the permanent fixtures in place, the decorative mirror ends up being the focal point for the entire room. Decorating your bathroom usually consist of only cosmetic aspects of the room not fixing the sink, toilet or shower.

Because the permanent fixtures not be moved easily, it is impossible to rearrange them. The most precious piece that we can control is the bathroom vanity. This element needs to be personally chosen by you, you also need to choose a mirror that represents your home and the warmth you want your guests to feel when they enter your newly remodeled bathroom.

Luckily, there are many different types of designs that you have to choose from when you go to pick out your bathroom vanity all of which can create their own themes for the restroom depending on what your various tastes are. In fact, the mirror you choose could very well define your theme if you choose one that is large enough to cover up wall. After all, you can guarantee everyone will notice the mirror you choose since people check their appearance while washing their hands and before leaving a restroom.

If you have already decorated your bathroom you will definitely want to match the current theme in order to things flowing smoothly. Your guests will enter and exit your bathroom and see your mirror. This is going to be the single piece that says everything about the room. So be sure not to disappoint them. In general most people don’t bother to look at how the bathroom vanity sits with the sink. If the mirrors style or theme is opposite from that of the style of the rest of the bathroom it will surely stand out.

You also have many different styles to choose from as well between antique, classic, traditional, and even gothic. Whichever design you choose, you will have to make sure you can complete the look throughout the rest of your restroom. Although the bathroom vanity may be the centerpiece of the room, it is not enough to hold the entire theme of the room with one simple placement. You will have to add some more detail along with it to complete the look.

A framed bathroom vanity mirror should cover the entire width of the sink while keeping the amount of space it occupies to a minimal. An oval or round framed mirror could help straighten this problem out. To help cover empty wall space you can add a towel rack that goes with the framing of the mirror.

On the other hand, if you are going for a more classic or comfortable scene, you may decide instead to choose a bathroom vanity with a wood setting that will bring out the natural wood settings in your restroom. With the right colors your restroom will come together in front of your eyes.
